Grandrake

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Tuesday, August 31, 2010,
Today I created a new Sakimi, the Grandrake:

I didn't really have anything in mind when making this creature: I was, however, inspired by an article on Bulbapedia about what Oddish is based on-- the mandrake plant. Grandrake doesn't really have anything in common with the plant, though-- only the name and the fact that it is some sort of plant are really inspired from it. Anywho...

I'm not really sure if I like this pic or not. I sketched it up really quickly. As you can see, I used a style sim...

Cranidos

Here's a picture of my character from TNG, Jessica the Cranidos, using Thunder Punch:

Compared to my other recent pics, this one is actually pretty decent. Some of the lines look sort of sloppy, and the head seems a bit mishapen. I tried out a new style for this pic, and it turned out pretty well. I think I'll continue to use this style in the future~

Metagross

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Wednesday, August 25, 2010,

Here's a Metagross I drew for Jo. I'm not happy with this pic at all. The shading is weird, especially on the lower portion of the X on its face. The legs on the left don't look very good, either. I didn't bother adding a background, not even a transparent one.

Here's a drawing of Andrew from the third version of Saviors in the Morning and in the Night:

I'm not very happy with this picture. It looks quite sloppy and unattractive. Andrew is supposed to have a sweet but timid personality, though he looks rather angry in the pic...

Pantherstar

Hooray, I drew my Warriors purrsona, Pantherstar.

Definitely not my best piece. I'm not quite happy with how the whiskers came out (I had to draw them on with the mouse x.x). Additionally, I forgot to save the sketch. One thing's for sure--

Anything's better than this disaster...

Rayquaza

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Friday, August 20, 2010,

This Rayquaza was drawn as an art request for someone... I was originally planning to make it full body, but it didn't turn out very well, as you can see in the sketch below. This picture is relatively decent; some parts could use some work, (such as the hands) though. I like how the background came out :)

Here's the original sketch:
