Medicham & Me

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, In : Pokémon
So, last night, I was browsing through the GTS in search of a Medicham, one of the 24 Pokemon I was missing from my National Dex. I figured that I wouldn't find anything decent: most of the people on the GTS are total n00bs, asking for Lv. 100 Darkrai and Deoxys and crap. I did manage to find a nice Japanese Drapion recently-- the person wanted any Porygon2. I had some random Porygon2 from that Emerald game rotting in my PC, so I said, why not? I got the Drapion, which looked to be legit, and...

Hmm, it seems as if I may be going on vacation sometime in the next several days. Fortunately, I'll have access to a computer, and Wi-Fi. I'll also be sure to bring back plenty of pictures and stories to share~

Ominous Wind

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Sunday, August 29, 2010, In : Pokémon
I'm mad. I'm reeeeally mad. Want to know why? Well...

In Explorers of Sky, I got through Deep Dark Crater at the expense of only one Reviver Seed (I have between five and seven of them, I really cant remember). I had high hopes, yet I doubted that I'd get very far...

You see, my strategy for the final battle is to first kill off that nasty Rhyperior with LightningRod as his ability. However, it takes up a turn to move in front of him, and it also wastes one of Storm's turns, as I have to butt h...

Sakimi's New Look

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Saturday, August 28, 2010, In : Website
I've changed the layout of Sakimi yet again. The days left of summer are becoming fewer and fewer, and time is running out for summer fun. For me, there are only eleven days left till school starts, and I know many of you have already started school. I thought it'd be appropriate to change the layout to one resembling a sunset, because the end of summer seems as if it can be compared to the end of the day. There's only a little time left before we are submerged in darkness- in this case, school.

Ready for Battle

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Saturday, August 28, 2010, In : Pokémon
I've trained three of my Pokemon (Kim the Charizard, Silver the Lucario, and Jon the Aggron) to Lv. 50-- they're now all set for the Battle Frontier (which is really the only thing fun left to do in the game). Equipped with their Charti Berry, Expert Belt, and Quick Claw, respectfully, they'll be unstoppable!

Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Saviors in the Morning and in the Night Third Re-write

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Tuesday, August 24, 2010, In : Website
I've decided to end the current draft of PMDSitMaitN and start a new one. You will still be able to view the fic on the 'Fanfictions Galore' page, the forums, and on Shine Land.

The second draft was quite successful; it had 28 pages and 8 chapters. The reason for the re-write? I can't stand writing about nine (later ten) main characters.

This time, there will be four (and only four) new characters; a Torchic named Amber, a Turtwig named Kyle, a Totodile named Brittany, and a Nidoran named Andre...

My New Room

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Monday, August 23, 2010, In : Life
Sorry for the lack of updates...

Anywho, I'm finally getting my own room. My parents are moving downstairs; I'm getting their old room, and Jo's getting the room we used to share. Not much has been done; we did move all the beds and computers, though. When it comes time to paint, I'm thinking about a mossy green color... I'm not really sure what Jo wants.

Art Contest

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Friday, August 20, 2010, In : Forums
The winners of the Kanto art contest have been announced:

1st: Rainy's Vaporeon (of course, has she ever even lost an art contest?)
2nd: Some person I don't know's Eevee (I saw that coming)
3rd: Shiny's Doduo (quite a surprise, actually)

As predicted, I didn't come anywhere close to winning. Other that some crappy Fakemon contest where all the other submissions looked like they were drawn by Jo, I don't recall ever winning an art contest. Meh... I don't like my art, they don't like my art, the ad...

The Ponyta Predicament

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Friday, August 20, 2010, In : Pokémon
As you may already know, recently I caught a shiny Shinx with the Pokeradar. I've been trying for several other Pokemon, but nothing's been working right. Well, I've reached 27 in a Ponyta chain, and have begun resetting the radar. So far, I've used up at least forty Max Repels, but I haven't seen a single shiny patch. I'm scared to continue the chain because chances are I'll end up breaking it. So, wish me luck, and let's hope I don't run into that stupid patch of grass which is blocked by m...

Lavender Town Tone

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Friday, August 20, 2010, In : Pokémon
So, the other day, I was reading through a topic on the Bulbagarden forums-- it was about Pokemon related 'creepypasta'. Creepypasta are short stories designed to unnerve, disturb, elicit a negative emotional response from, and scare the reader, according to said topic. Well, a number of the creepypasta stories were about the original Lavender Town theme from the Japanese Red/Green versions, and why they changed it for the English release. They were quite ridiculous-- most were about how the ...
