Under: Dreams
I often fantasize about getting revenge on Melissa, the girl who tried to murder me on the last day of school in sixth grade. Most of these things I come up with are stupid, ridiculous, impossible, or a combination of the above. But in a dream I had last night, Melissa had it delivered to her; it felt freakishly realistic, even if what had happened was far-fetched.
Apparently, my team was on a field trip to a power plant or something similar. The plant was carved into a cliff, which sat in the middle of this huge depression. Off to one side was a tunnel with some sort of machine inside; I'm not exactly what it was, it might've been a wood chipper. Something potentially dangerous. Regardless of what it was, Melissa and her friend, Alexis, were hanging out by the tunnel, when a sudden gust of wind blew something that belonged to Alexis into the tunnel. The two of them rushed in, and all of the sudden there was a scream. The scream was quickly cut off.
Someone reported that Melissa had become caught in whatever the machine was, and had been killed. They were also worried about Alexis, but she had survived, and was still in the tunnel, possibly mourning Melissa's death. I don't believe she came out during the duration of the dream.
The news of Melissa's death came as a huge shock to me. In my dream, I began to cry.
What.
Melissa is among my worst enemies! She tried to kill me! And I was crying over her death? The thing was, as I mentioned earlier, this dream was amazingly realistic. One of those dreams my characters in PMD roleplays always seem to think they have in the beginning. I don't know if it had anything to do with Melissa being the victim; it was probably just the thought of someone being brutally killed after being caught in a wood chipper. Or perhaps it was the sheer shock of suddenly losing my enemy. But you'd think I'd be happy if it was Melissa who died, especially after constantly fantasizing a revenge plot, or her demise itself. Maybe it was a message, akin to the one Moo apparently sent me. But what was it trying to tell me? To drop the whole thing, and stop living in the past? To not be vengeful? Who knows...
(I also caught a shiny Raikou in the beginning of the dream, but that's not very important. Unless of course it's trying to tell me that America will be seeing the shiny beast event soon, or that I'll somehow obtain a shiny Raikou, or any shiny really...)
