With the release of Guardian Signs, I was able to obtain a Manaphy egg. As you may already know, Leafy let me borrow his Manaphy for my Pokedex, along with his Shaymin, though I never got the chance to obtain a Phione. As soon as that egg hatched, I admired my new legendary Pokemon for a few minutes, and then tossed it into the Daycare with my faithful Ditto. And soon enough, I had myself a little Phione; the 492nd Pokemon to be registered in my Pokedex.

Now there's only one* Pokemon left to catch... and that is...

Celebi.

Celebi has been nearly impossible to obtain in an American game-- the only Celebi event here ever was the 10th anniversary event, which I (obviously) missed out on. But, there is hope: there's a special battle with Giovanni programmed into HG and SS, which can only be accessed with an event Celebi. Now, unless this is going to turn out like the Azure Flute, this pretty much means we'll be seeing a Celebi event in the near future.

*The Mew and Deoxys I own appear to be hacked in a manner similar to one of my Darkrai; I hacked the Member Card only because I missed out on the event. I'm not sure if these two should count towards my dex, but whatever. However, in Guardian Signs, there is a way to obtain a Deoxys, and I'll try to get that one as soon as Jo gets a copy of the game, as it is a co-op mission. Mew, on the other-hand... I'm not sure if I'll ever obtain a fully legit one. A Mew is one of the Pokemon that may be selected for the Dream World distribution, so if that wins, everything will be cool. A Mew may also be obtained if 999 Pokemon are placed in My Pokemon Ranch... though I don't think I'll be playing that anytime soon ._.
