Today in science, we were studying planetary rotation and revolution; specifically, we were providing proof of the above happenings. Mr. D (not Dionysus =P) made Michelle hold a white Styrofoam ball on a stick, and said it was the sun. He called on this one dude to portray Earth, and revolve around the "sun". He made him walk around the classroom, and every so often, he would tell him to stop and look at the ceiling and tell the class what he saw; a model of an atom, a wasp nest, the Smartboard projector... he eventually came to one corner of the classroom, where there was a hole in the ceiling.
"Stop!" Mr. D shouted, "What do you see?"
"A hole?" the dude responded.
"A hole in what? Maybe it's a portal to an alternate dimension..." said Mr. D.
"Uranus!" some other kid exclaimed.
Mr. D turned around. "A hole in Uranus? ... Oh..."
The class burst out laughing. Even Mr. D couldn't contain his laughter.
Wow, this was a really short post...
