Excalibur

August 3, 2011
Here's a drawing of Excalibur, my favorite character from Soul Eater.
... Yeah, I'll explain everything in the Random Blog in a minute.

This is far from being my best piece... after all, I am still recovering from my art hiatus. His feet are hideous, and his arms look weird. That hat irks me, and so does the collar thing... Um... don't have too much else to say about this one.

Genesect v4

July 30, 2011
Yet another Genesect that I created to celebrate the reopening of Plasma's Folly. Also because I just love Genesect ;D

This was done in my simple/Dream World style, obviously. The cannon looks wonky as usual, and I'm not quite happy with the feet. The background leaves much to be desired, but what can I say: I used SAI to color. Its head looks too small, and the shading could use some work. Some of the lines look bad.

Hmm, aside from my most recent one, all my Genesect drawings have been used a...

It's Not a Dream

July 2, 2011
Here's a picture I made of myself in Legendary Genesis:

Not really proud of this one. But then again, I drew it after a long art hiatus, so I should be happy I was able to draw anything... The body is a mess. All of it. And the head is very much disproportionate to it. The legs were so bad, I cropped them off.

It's that time again... let's dig up an ancient picture of Scyther and laugh at how awful it is.

Faaaaaabulous...

Falco Lombardi

June 11, 2011
Here's a drawing of Falco I made because I was bored, and Jo wanted me to.

I hate anthros. They give you a false sense of security, because they're animals, right? Uh-huh, wrong. They're just humans with animal heads. Thankfully, the part I happen to be worst at when it comes to humans is the head, so drawing this guy's head was probably the easiest part. I think the part that gave me the most problems was the feet. I didn't even bother trying to get down the correct design of Falco's boots, s...

Touching Spirit Bear Project

June 11, 2011
I made this for an English project involving the book 'Touching Spirit Bear'.

I really hate doing realistic digital art, but I guess this didn't come out as badly as I had expected. The snake is probably the worst thing on there... I never even gave it a tail, did I? I realized that all along, I was just too lazy to add it in, and I didn't want to risk making the picture worse than it already is. The mouse has some issues, too. Its paws were terrible, so I had to cover them with grass. I think...

Zoroark

May 22, 2011
Here's a Zoroark I drew because I was bored. It probably looks all crunched up, because the picture itself is HUGE.

I got lazy with the coloring, and used Dream World/anime/whatever style shading as opposed to my regular style. I might recolor it another time, but for now this is all I have. Its left leg is really ugly, and so are parts of its hair. The spikes of fur coming from its arm are terrible. Out of all the Zoroark I've ever drawn, I think this one stays the most true to its design. Th...

Midnight Rush

May 13, 2011
Here's another picture of Scolipede I made for the roleplay:

This picture isn't too bad, but it could use some work. The horns are still a bit too small, and the claws could use some improvement. I really don't have too much else to say... either that or I'm just tired.

I really do thing I've improved greatly since the last time I attempted to draw Scolipede, which actually wasn't too long ago:

Dusknoir

May 1, 2011
I have no idea why I made this.

If it wasn't obvious, I seriously screwed up his right hand-- it's on backwards. See? This is what happens when I don't heavily ref. I only realized it was on the wrong way when I was halfway done with the lines, so I didn't even bother fixing it. Now that I think of it, I really should've. But yeah, I pretty much made up this pose on my own. I really only reffed on Sugimori's art, though I'd occasionally briefly glance at a picture of Dusknoir facing forward ju...

A New Adventure Awaits!

April 4, 2011
Here's a picture I made in hope of a Mystery Dungeon game or two for the fifth generation:

Not really happy with this picture. As everyone knows, I cannot draw Snivy, and I apparently can't draw Zorua as well. I used my simple shading method, and I'm not quite sure whether that helped or hurt the picture. I can never get Snivy's face right, and its arms seems strange too. Its whole body seems misshapen, in fact. Zorua's ears and legs don't match up. The markings are badly placed, and I forgot ...

Chibi Reshiram

March 31, 2011
Here's a chibi Reshiram. It may say that this was posted on April Fools Day, but there's no joke here. I actually posted it the day before, I don't know why this site says I posted it the day after.

Obviously not my best piece. Some of the lines look really messy. And the wings. Gawd, the wings. They're hidden behind stuff for a reason. Its eye looks bad, too. It was even worse before I blurred it... But this was a nice change of pace for me, since I don't normally draw chibies. I tried to mak...
