The Monotonous Journey

November 25, 2010

I'm very fortunate to be speaking with you at the moment; I'm on my dad's old laptop, emphasis on old. This thing is slower than a Shuckle with the Brave nature >.> And it doesn't have spell-check either, so don't be surprised if I make a few typos...
I'm not sure exactly when I woke up; I think it was some time a bit after ten. I had this weird triple berry cake flavored yogurt for breakfast. After packing up a few things and making other preparations, we hit the road.
We stopped at some gas station, where we filled up the tank, and my dad got coffee at the mini mart. He also got a cupcake thing for himself, but not for us D:
And so began the journey to my aunt's house... it was very long, and there was very little scenery to look at up until we hit the city. My parents were playing 80's rock the entire time, meanwhile I was wondering why on Earth anyone would listen to that crap. I switched between playing Black, reading that King Tut book I mentioned in the previous post, and sleeping. Still, it was boring.
For lunch we had sandwiches packed the night before... mine was roast beef and Swiss on a sesame seed roll with horseradish. There were lots of snacks packed as well, but I only had one small bag of cheese doodles... Jo ate like three bags of chips and two packs of fruit snacks along with the Pop-tart she had for breakfast and her sandwich o.O

I think I should close up now, since apparently the computer's going to restart in fifteen minutes...

Ignore this, I forgot to bring my reading log and I need to keep track:

The Murder of King Tut
James Patterson
Non-fiction thriller

The Worst Thanksgiving Ever?

November 23, 2010
This Thanksgiving, I have to go to my aunt's house in Long Island. I absolutely hate spending holidays away from home; one Easter, we went to the same aunt's house, and it was dreadful. I was dragged into a church, and overall it didn't feel like Easter as I knew it. I'm afraid it will be the same this Thanksgiving, aside from the church part. Worst of all... well, not to be rude, but my aunt definitely isn't the best cook out there.
In our original plans, we'd be visiting some King Tut exhibi...

Night at the Wax Museum

November 19, 2010
I've decided to try out for this year's school musical, "Night at the Wax Museum". It's apparently a spoof of the movie "Night at the Museum", if that wasn't already obvious. Today was the informational meeting; we were given a packet covering the basics of the musical, and what to expect at the audition. I'm not sure if I'll make a part... around a hundred kids attended the meeting, and only about fifty will make it through. And if I do make it, chances are I won't get a good part... I know ...

Archives

November 18, 2010
I've set up a new blog page entitled 'Archives'. In this blog, I will recount strange, amusing, scary, sad, and notable things that happened in the past, unlike the Random Blog, which contains news updates. Depending on how much I feel like writing, there may be many or no posts per day on the Archives page.

Cien! Cien! Cien! Cien! Cien! Cien!

November 18, 2010
Yesterday, my team in Black reached level 100 at long last. The first Pokemon to hit 100 was Denchura, followed by Victini, then Wargle, then Waruvial, then Jalorda, and lastly Daikenki. And what did I do to celebrate? I... er, shoved the six of them into the PC and started training a new team... heheh. The new team consists of a female Archeos, a male Monozu, a male Zebraika, a female Shandera, a female Riolu, and a male Kirikizan. I'm not sure if they'll ever get to level 100, but I'll try....

Gloria for a Not-So Festive Day

November 18, 2010
In chorus, we're singing this song called "Gloria for a Festive Day". It's an okay song, but it's nearly impossible to sing without messing up or feeling self-conscious... you see, all of the people who sang solos in the spring last year get to sing a fourth part, a descant. I wasn't one of these people, and I could care less, if it wasn't for the fact that I'm surrounded by these descant peeps...
Here's pretty much how we're set up... excuse the sloppy drawing, I literally did it in thirty s...

Mission Impossible?

November 10, 2010
After all that waiting and begging for my parents to get Jo Guardian Signs, after forcing Jo to play the game nonstop when she finally got it, after all the times I helped her when she was stuck... the Deoxys mission appears to be impossible.
You see, the mission, 'Deoxys and the Odd Temple' I think it's called, requires two or more players to complete, hence why I needed to wait for Jo to get the game. To perform multiplayer missions, you must travel to the past... I've never performed a mult...

Supersoaker

November 5, 2010
Yet another tale from social studies class...

Around the corner from Mr. Wiest's room is a math teacher from another team's room. I've heard this math teacher also enjoys joking around, though I don't remember how to spell his name. Today, Mr. Wiest was teaching, and then all of the sudden water blasts one of the windows. Everyone turned to see what was going on, and there at the window around the corner is that math teacher, holding a Supersoaker with a bunch of kids gathered around him. Then...

Happy First Anniversary, APR!

November 1, 2010
If you didn't already know, today is the first anniversary of APR, or the Actual Pokemon Roleplay, originally created by Rainpool_medicine_cat. This RP is historic in that without it, none of us would've become friends. Even those of you out there who didn't join us until the PMD era-- I originally pitched the idea for a Mystery Dungeon roleplay on APR, and several of its members said that I should go with it. And then PMD branched off into TNG, BV, PCHB, etc. Those of us who were members of ...
