The Monotonous Journey
November 25, 2010I'm very fortunate to be speaking with you at the moment; I'm on my
dad's old laptop, emphasis on old. This thing is slower than a Shuckle
with the Brave nature >.> And it doesn't have spell-check either,
so don't be surprised if I make a few typos...
I'm not sure exactly
when I woke up; I think it was some time a bit after ten. I had this
weird triple berry cake flavored yogurt for breakfast. After packing up a
few things and making other preparations, we hit the road.
We
stopped at some gas station, where we filled up the tank, and my dad got
coffee at the mini mart. He also got a cupcake thing for himself, but
not for us D:
And so began the journey to my aunt's house... it was
very long, and there was very little scenery to look at up until we hit
the city. My parents were playing 80's rock the entire time, meanwhile I
was wondering why on Earth anyone would listen to that crap. I switched
between playing Black, reading that King Tut book I mentioned in the
previous post, and sleeping. Still, it was boring.
For lunch we had
sandwiches packed the night before... mine was roast beef and Swiss on a
sesame seed roll with horseradish. There were lots of snacks packed as
well, but I only had one small bag of cheese doodles... Jo ate like
three bags of chips and two packs of fruit snacks along with the
Pop-tart she had for breakfast and her sandwich o.O
I think I should close up now, since apparently the computer's going to restart in fifteen minutes...
Ignore this, I forgot to bring my reading log and I need to keep track:
