Several days ago, I randomly came up with the idea of e-mailing the mods to see if they could return the first Actual Pokemon Roleplay. I had read that other forumers had gotten their topics back by doing the same. While I doubted they would, since it's been gone for so long, I said, 'Heck, why not? What's the worst thing that could happen?' So I sent them a quick message, as you can see below:

In November of 2009, my friend had a roleplay called 'Actual Pokemon Roleplay!' (http://forums.warriorcats.com/eve/forums?a=tpc&f=39110431&m=703104429). On December 16th of that year, a person named 'Azullunacloud' came on and said a cuss word, and seconds later the roleplay was gone. It was put in the holding area, and it's still there today. I, along with my friends, still really miss this roleplay, and I was wondering if there was anyway you could possibly get it out of the holding area? It didn't have any inappropriate content, aside from that one cuss word. It's still in my Favorites, and it sort of bothers me that it's still in the holding area after all this time, rather than just being deleted.

Hello,

After looking reviewing the 900 pages of this thread, we’re not inclined to put this back on the forums.  It’s over a year old and you guys hadn’t roleplayed in some time.  If you want us to just go ahead and delete it, we can.  Otherwise, we’re not too sure about the concern you voice about leaving it in holding versus deleting it entirely.

Psh. To me it really seemed like the mods simply didn't want to bring back the roleplay. I mean, how could we roleplay on it if it's been in the holding area for a year? Saddened, but still with a glimmer of hope, I whined:

Awww... the roleplay holds so many memories. My friends and I often discuss how much fun it was, and how much we miss it... I know we haven't roleplayed in a long time, well, since we couldn't, obviously. Another person and I made discussions on the FAQ forum about its deletion when it happened, but nothing came out of that. I'd be so grateful if it was returned to us... but if you really don't want to bring it back, then let it be so... :c 

Shortly, I got a response. And it was much happier than the last:

We’ll give you two options, please select one.  (1) You can promise that if we restore it, you’ll continue to roleplay on this thread so that we know it’s being used and not simply taking up space, as it’s our policy to remove threads that haven’t been used in some time so we have the bandwidth to accommodate threads actually in use.  (2) We can put it back up for a limited time so you can copy it or whatever you’d like to preserve your work, then we’ll remove it.

We were getting our roleplay back (whoa, did the font just change?)! Whether we went with option one or option two, in the end we'd see our beloved APR again! I wasn't sure which option to choose, so I talked it over with you guys. It was pretty much even, so we decided on leaving it up to Rainy, who created the whole thing. She wanted it back permanently, so that's what I told the mods (the regular text came back o_O). But this means that we'll have to be active on the thread. However, this leaves us in a bit of a sticky situation-- there have been four APRs since the deletion of the first one. Will we start from where we left off on APR I, pretending that everything after it never happened? Or will we continue from APR V on the old thread? Well, when we get it back we'll hopefully have it figured out. I'm just so happy that we're getting it back at long last :D
