2010

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Saturday, January 1, 2011, In : Life
JANUARY
Actual Pokemon Roleplay lived long into January, and was when much of its second expansion took place. I created its third expansion on the 26th, and that lived into the next month for the most part. I spent a lot of this month complaining about or trying to win the Fanatic Challenge, which didn't happen until the following month. The shiny Pichu was distributed at Gamestop until Valentine's Day the following month.
FEBRUARY
February marked the end of APR's glory. I also won the Fanatic...

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Saturday, December 25, 2010, In : Life
For Christmas, I received:

Emo socks (they're black and gray and have skulls on them o3o)
Emo hairclips (they have black lace and a skull and crossbones on them)
Colored hair attachment things (there's black and white ones... I'm SO wearing them when I go out to get Black and White ^^)
Elf (the movie; since I've already seen parts of it a bunch of times this year, I don't think I'll be watching it for a while...)
Chocolate coins :3
A chocolate lollipop thing
SD cards or something?
Chocolate snowman
Ba...

We're Off to See the Wizard!

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Monday, December 20, 2010, In : Life
Today, my dad, Jo and I went to the mall while my mom was donating blood. We looked at various stores for a while before deciding to stop at the food court for something to eat. I wasn't very hungry, so I just got at thing of juice at some little convenient store. My dad was going to Burger King to get himself and Jo some burgers, and he let me take Jo to find somewhere to sit. I chose a random table with an umbrella. A few moments after we sat down, some old dude comes up to us, and he's lik...

Um the Dolphin

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Friday, December 17, 2010, In : School
After lunch, Sam and I were walking up these stairs together, when Sam suddenly squeals and ducks down. A second later, she stands back up, a small, blue plush dolphin in her hand. She was like, "I found a random dolphin!" and we started laughing out of randomness. I thought she threw it back onto the ground, but a few moments later, when we were continuing down the hall, she pulled it out and asked me if I liked dolphins. I said, "Uh..." but she handed it to me, and told me to keep it. She t...

Void the Darkrai

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Thursday, December 9, 2010, In : Mind

Void, a character that most of you are familiar with, is often viewed as a monster by other Pokemon. Others fear her and try to avoid her by her appearance alone. In the past, she was assaulted in various ways, causing her to think all Pokemon are bad. Her past has also shaped her personality that she puts forth toward strangers; at first glance, she may appear to be serious, quiet, confined, and anti-social, even. But the personality she has around what little friends she has is completely d...

Immaturity

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, In : School
I think it's ridiculous that the kids in the back of the bus think I'm immature for playing Pokemon, when they can't even speak a sentence without saying the f-word or mentioning a reproductive organ.
They sit in the back because the bus driver can't bother them there; I sit towards the back because the people up front scream if they see me. In the morning, I sleep (well, I don't really fall asleep; it's more like just resting my eyes) and they're relatively quiet, since they're probably all ...

Between Fact & Fiction

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, In : Dreams
I often fantasize about getting revenge on Melissa, the girl who tried to murder me on the last day of school in sixth grade. Most of these things I come up with are stupid, ridiculous, impossible, or a combination of the above. But in a dream I had last night, Melissa had it delivered to her; it felt freakishly realistic, even if what had happened was far-fetched.
Apparently, my team was on a field trip to a power plant or something similar. The plant was carved into a cliff, which sat in th...

The Littlest Things

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Saturday, December 4, 2010, In : School
I was in the lunch line, waiting to be served shrimp poppers (which I haven't eaten in forever; I was randomly in the mood for them today =P). Two kids in front of me was one of the guys who used to sit in the booth behind us; in fact, it was Evan, who could be considered their leader. I don't know if I specifically stated it anywhere, but these were the guys that mainly picked on me on the Friday before Halloween- I believe the quote I posted came out of their mouths. Anyway, I began to feel...

A Real Cast of Characters

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Thursday, December 2, 2010, In : School
The musical is not for me.
As I have already stated, the 8th grade auditions took place the previous Monday. When I got out of homebase, I headed over to the 'sports study-hall' in the cafeteria, where we were told to go if we had nowhere else to stay after. Being the sports study-hall, the majority of the kids there were athletes. They all gave me funny looks, and several asked me what sport I was trying out for. I could tell that they were thinking something along the lines of: Dear God, ple...

Wrapping Up the Trip

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Wednesday, December 1, 2010, In : Life
Thanksgiving dinner was, as expected, not so good. The turkey was cooked the night before apparently, and thus by dinnertime it was cold and dry. Most of the food didn't appeal to me (turnips, broccoli, string beans, yams, other vegetables...) but the stuff I did have wasn't very great. The mashed potatoes were awfully bland, and the stuffing tasted... off. And don't get me started on the gravy... It was all so terrible that my mom declared we would be having a Thanksgiving dinner of our own ...

Zekrom & Reshirant

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Thursday, November 25, 2010, In : Life

Since November 23rd, Jo and I have been looking forward to seeing Reshiram and Zekrom in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade. I already posted about how we wouldn't be seeing them live, but it turned out we didn't seem them at all. Well, we would've, if we had been watching the NBC broadcast, but noooooo, my aunt insisted we watch CBS.
The CBS broadcast barely even showed the parade at all; rather they switched back and forth between Carrie Underwood, some football announcer dudes, and some la...

The Monotonous Journey

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Thursday, November 25, 2010, In : Life

I'm very fortunate to be speaking with you at the moment; I'm on my dad's old laptop, emphasis on old. This thing is slower than a Shuckle with the Brave nature >.> And it doesn't have spell-check either, so don't be surprised if I make a few typos...
I'm not sure exactly when I woke up; I think it was some time a bit after ten. I had this weird triple berry cake flavored yogurt for breakfast. After packing up a few things and making other preparations, we hit the road.
We stopped at so...

The Worst Thanksgiving Ever?

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Tuesday, November 23, 2010, In : Life
This Thanksgiving, I have to go to my aunt's house in Long Island. I absolutely hate spending holidays away from home; one Easter, we went to the same aunt's house, and it was dreadful. I was dragged into a church, and overall it didn't feel like Easter as I knew it. I'm afraid it will be the same this Thanksgiving, aside from the church part. Worst of all... well, not to be rude, but my aunt definitely isn't the best cook out there.
In our original plans, we'd be visiting some King Tut exhibi...

Night at the Wax Museum

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Friday, November 19, 2010, In : School
I've decided to try out for this year's school musical, "Night at the Wax Museum". It's apparently a spoof of the movie "Night at the Museum", if that wasn't already obvious. Today was the informational meeting; we were given a packet covering the basics of the musical, and what to expect at the audition. I'm not sure if I'll make a part... around a hundred kids attended the meeting, and only about fifty will make it through. And if I do make it, chances are I won't get a good part... I know ...

-Sigh-

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Friday, October 29, 2010, In : Life
"Kim doesn't need to wear a costume for Halloween!"
"No, she needs a mask to hide that ugly ass face."

I was picked on so many times today... The above is just an example of what I had to deal with... I thought today would be fun- I mean, it's the last school day before Halloween.. I started listing everything people would say about me... I didn't even know who the heck these people were. It always seems to be random people every time... like a few days ago, some boy I don't believe I've e...

A Year of Artistic Improvement

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Sunday, September 12, 2010, In : Life
Sorry for the lack of updates, I've been busy with many things, school in particular ;_;

I've been drawing on the computer ever since I first obtained one, but I didn't really get serious with it until September of last year. Over the past 12 months, I've really improved, in my opinion at least. I mean, my pics still suck, but at least they don't suck as badly as they used to...

This Bulbasaur was drawn on Paint in September '09.

Unfortunately, I no longer possess any of my October '09 pics. But...

Toronto Travels

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Monday, September 6, 2010, In : Life
As some of you may already know, I spent the weekend in Toronto. Here's a summary of everything that happened:

We had to wake up rather early on Saturday. There was a bit of drama, and my dad went to Wal-Mart. But after all that was through, we hit the road.
I began playing HeartGold on my Dialga & Palkia DS. I trained up my Pokemon a bit, then I attempted to capture Suicune. By the time we hit the border, I turned my DS off for a while. When I picked it back up... there was something awfully ...

My New Room

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Monday, August 23, 2010, In : Life
Sorry for the lack of updates...

Anywho, I'm finally getting my own room. My parents are moving downstairs; I'm getting their old room, and Jo's getting the room we used to share. Not much has been done; we did move all the beds and computers, though. When it comes time to paint, I'm thinking about a mossy green color... I'm not really sure what Jo wants.

Lavender Town Tone

Posted by The Muffin Lucario on Friday, August 20, 2010, In : Pokémon
So, the other day, I was reading through a topic on the Bulbagarden forums-- it was about Pokemon related 'creepypasta'. Creepypasta are short stories designed to unnerve, disturb, elicit a negative emotional response from, and scare the reader, according to said topic. Well, a number of the creepypasta stories were about the original Lavender Town theme from the Japanese Red/Green versions, and why they changed it for the English release. They were quite ridiculous-- most were about how the ...
